CHEM 105 - Chemistry of Environmental Issues


A course for non-science majors. The goal of this course is to provide non-science majors with a science background that will enable them to critically evaluate environmental issues as they are presented in mainstream media. Lectures cover the basic chemistry related to air pollution, global warming, ozone depletion, energy resources (e.g., fossil vs. alternative fuels), and water quality. Lecture.
