WMST 101 - Introduction to Women’s Studies

This course introduces students to the field of women’s studies, an interdisciplinary, interdepartmental area of inquiry that applies feminist theories in examining women’s own perspectives of their diverse experiences. Students explore the intersection of gender with other social categories such as ethnicity, race, class, sexuality, and cultural difference. (Offered every semester.) 3 credits
